Angophora is an entry facade artwork that draws on multiple layers of local inspiration, weaving together the movements of the Wallumedegal snapper fish totem with the rustling leaves, outstretched branches, and peeling bark of the Angophoras.

The trees’ summer flowerings are threaded through the composition, overlaid with campsite and gathering symbols in a nod to both the communal nature of the residential tower and the stories of Karadji, or “Clever Men”, who were known to meet in the Ryde area.
